Have you ever experienced the wrath of a virus, worm, or Trojan? Antivirus is a really cool, modernized, tower defense game. You start a new game by tapping play in the start menu or you can resume an existing game by tapping continue. When you tap the play button, a screen will appear that will allow you to pick your difficulty level. Then you can select any of the 6 levels provided. The higher levels will have more paths to defend and more open spaces, giving the viruses a better chance of making it into your system. Here is when the defending begins.
The goal of the game is to keep your system from getting infected by viruses, worms, and Trojans. Each round brings another group of about 10 viruses. As you go on, the viruses get stronger and harder to kill. There are 10 different towers. Some of the towers immobilize viruses and others will slow them down or destroy them. Each tower costs a certain amount of money, which you can earn by defeating the viruses.
To build a tower, just select it from the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Then, double tap the area on the screen where you would like to place it. For a little help playing the game, you can turn on/off game play hints in the Options menu.
Antivirus is a overall fun, well made game. It will keep you busy with a unique Tower Defense style. This game is easy to figure out and play.
Antivirus is available in the iTunes App Store for $1.99
