budgetcare8 100x150 App Review: BudgetCare Helps Track ExpensesDo you ever find yourself running out of money at the end of the month and wondering where it all went?  It seems to disappear a little here and a little there, but always faster than you want it to.  BudgetCare by Suponix is designed to help you keep track of all those little expenditures so that you can quickly and easily see where the money is going.  You can also set a budget/spending limit for the month and the app will help you keep track of how close you are getting to that limit.

Despite the fact that the app is named BudgetCare, it is not a full budgeting program in the sense that I think of a budget.  There is not currently a way to keep track of income.  However, if you know what your income for the month should be, you can use this app to keep track of how your spending it.  It may be a little more tricky for those with a variable income.  You simply set your budget for the month and then enter in a transaction each time you spend money.  Each transaction is organized by date and category.  If you find the categories don’t fit your spending, you can always edit them.  It took me a few minutes to find all of the categories I needed, but eventually found that they were all there.  Some of them were just a subcategory of a larger category.  For instance, Electricity, Gas, Water, Telephone, Internet, and Cable were all subcategories of Bills.

Once you have entered in your transactions, you can view your spending by a specific day or divided into categories by week or month.  The app will even display your spending in a bar graph or pie chart.  These views make it easy to see where you are spending the majority of your money.  BudgetCare also has a simple bar at the bottom of the front page to visually show you how much you have spent that month of your budgeted amount.

Overall, the program is a simple way to keep track of your spending so that you know where your money is going and can make adjustments to your spending as necessary to stay within your budget.

BudgetCare is $1.99 in the iTunes App Store.
