App Review: Numerus by Balazs Faludi
Numerus is a powerful and straight forward calculator app. Reviewing this app took me back to Calculus class and my good old TI-81. While this app does not offer a graphing function, that is just about the only thing it does not do. The first thing that struck me with this app is the ability to enter in an equation just as you would write it on paper. Instead of adding 2+5 and then 3+7 and then multiplying the sums together, you can simply type in (2+5) X (3+7) and the calculator does the rest. Entering equations this way saves you time and effort.
The app also keeps track of all the equations entered. You can scroll back through them and even reuse them again by tapping on them. You can also save any of the results to one of 26 variables (A-Z) for later use. This calculator can perform lots of different functions. If you can’t find the function that you need, there is a searchable list in the Catalog that you can use to call it up on the screen.
Numerus is a great calculator app for just about any use.
Numerus is $1.99 in the iTunes App Store.
