radioflare1 150x150 App Review: Radio Flare Shoot to the MusicRadio Flare by Studio Radiolaris is an awesome musical shooter game. Your goal is to shoot the ships, bombs and other obstacles that come at you.  You also need to collect the “Flares” they leave behind when they blow up. The more Flares that you collect, the more intense the music will become. Once you have collected a certain number of Flares, you can advance to the next level. If you get hit with a bomb, bullet, or run into a ship, you lose a life. You have four lives, but you can get more by collecting a power up that occasionally appears after you kill a ship. Another power up you can collect is a bomb. This bomb has the power to destroy all surrounding ships when you give the command.

The controls in the game are basic and easy to figure out. To move your ship you just use your left finger to drag it around. To shoot an object, you need to select it by tapping it with your right finger. To select a group of ships, just drag your right finger over them. You can only select up to 4 ships at a time. This game is unique because when you select the enemies, your ship blows them up to the beat of the music.

You can upload your scores onto the high score list. However, this list is not world wide. It only counts your scores from previous games. If you want to brag to your friends about your scores, you can log into your Facebook or Twitter account and post them.

Radio Flare is a great interactive game where you not only control the gameplay, but the music too.

Radio Flare is available in the iTunes App Store for $2.99.
