idiottest6 150x150 App Review: The Moron (Idiot) Test by DistinctDevThe Moron Test (formerly known as the Idiot Test) by DistinctDev is an entertaining app that tests your ability to accurately following instructions.  In the fast-paced world that we live in, we often speed through the instructions and infer a lot about the answer from what we see.  This test requires you to read instructions completely, remember several steps, and complete them flawlessly.  If you make a single mistake, you fail the test and have to start over.

The test is not hard.  A child could follow the instructions.  The question is, can you?  For me, it took a lot more concentration and attempts to complete the test than I like to admit.  The only problem with the app is that the test never changes.  Once you have figured out all of the questions, the app loses its entertainment value for you.  I think the real fun comes in watching friends, co-workers, or family members try to complete the test.  The Moron Test is a humerus way to kill time.

The Moron Test is $0.99 in the iTunes App Store.

“entertaining app that tests your ability to accurately following instructions.” ??? Does that make any sense? I guess this review is very suiting for this application.

Just so everyone knows, this application was the biggest waste of money. And because you cannot get refunds, don’t put yourself into a situation where you will want one and DO NOT buy this application. I made the stupid mistake and bought it because I thought that it would be challenging. The only thing this application challenged was my patience. I went through it perfectly the first time, but every level you get ranked as a moron until you finish the whole process. And the challenges are not even challenging. They are trivial Simon-Says style problems where you must follow the directions exactly or get booted back to the start.

Again, waste of money. I promptly uninstalled it from my phone.

What a shame, another company who ignores it’s customers and doesn’t stand behind it’s product. It would be nice to at least let your customers know that you don’t plan on updating and put this issue to rest.
