App Review: Trixel by ADEPT Games, LLC
Trixel by ADEPT Games, LLC is a great puzzle game that will stretch your mind to its very limits. What you are trying to do is make the squares in the puzzle match those in the template shown in the top left corner. You start off in the middle square. You can then tap the square that you want to move to and flip over. You can only move left, right, up, or down. Depending on how many moves it takes you to complete a puzzle, you will be given either a bronze, silver, or gold medal. There are ten power-ups that you can collect to help you complete a puzzle. To unlock these power-ups, you need to collect crystals that appear during the levels. Some different power-ups are: diagonal moves, wormholes, undo, reset, warp to any tile, and skip a puzzle.
In addition to the 100 levels, you can unlock more bonus levels by getting gold medals on all of the levels. These extra levels are called Race the Clock levels. In these levels, you are trying to beat the levels within a set time limit.
You can view your accomplishments in the records section. This section tells you how many medals you have received and how close you are to completing the section.
Trixel is a fun app that gives you a new style of puzzles for the iPhone. It is a very well designed app with optimized performance and playability. Trixel is a great game for all of you who love puzzles.
Trixel is $0.99 in the iTunes App Store.
