cardninja1 150x150 App Review: Card Ninja by Pint Sized MobileCard Ninja by Pint Sized Mobile is a challenging game of speed.  The premise of the game is simple, but not easily achieved.  You are given a stack of cards that have different shapes and colors on them.  You must flick the cards into the correct target as quickly as you can.  Every card that you send through the correct target, you maintain in your possession.  Those that you sort incorrectly or fail to sort before time runs out, you lose.  You can also gain extra cards for time left on the clock at the end of each level.

For each level of the game there is a challenge number of cards that you must keep in order to move on to the next level.  At the end of each level, you also receive a ninja ranking that is based upon how many cards above the challenge number you managed to hold onto.  There are a few different ways that you must sort the cards, so it is important to pay attention to the instructions you are given at the beginning of the level.  Sometimes they must be sorted by color and symbol and other times they are sorted only by color or symbol.  There are even levels where the targets move and you have to catch them to get the cards through the right target.

If you enjoy card games like Spit or Speed, you will enjoy Card Ninja.  It is well designed.  Each level increases in difficulty, providing a challenge for all ages.

Card Ninja is $0.99 in the iTunes App Store.
