App Review: GudeBalls by Rogerio Penchel
GudeBalls is a fun puzzle game that requires some strategy. The goal of the game is to fill the circular plates with four same colored marbles. Once you have done this, the plate will turn black. You can still use it to help you fill the others, but it doesn’t need to be filled again. Throughout the game there are locks that only let certain colors through, and even arrows that allow the marbles to travel in only one direction.
As you begin the game, a marble at the top of the screen will start rolling alongside the top until it finds an open slot. You must now start using your brain to help organize the marbles onto the plates. To rotate the plates, you must simply tap in the center of it. To send the marbles down the line to another plate, tap right off of the marble on the green arrows. If there is a marble already in the spot you are sending it to, the ball will bounce off of it and return to where it was. You must be careful about neglecting the marble at the top. There is a timer that indicates how long you have to put the next marble on the board If you don’t get the marble on the board before time is up, it’s game over.
Gudeballs is a great puzzle game with smooth graphics and a unique idea. It is a great game for anyone that loves puzzle games, or just wants to fill a couple hours. There are 21 levels that you can play at anytime once you have beaten them. There is also an online ranking that you can use to compare your scores with your friends’ scores.
GudeBalls is $0.99 in the iTunes App Store.
