thank you for explaining about entering the address backwards. I don’t think i ever would’ve thought of that. Especially because in the field where you enter the address, it says Street, it doesn’t say State or City. That is beyond counter-intuitive. It’s like they’re trying to mess with you. just kidding, i think. I just got this app today. I have the California version, $20 and lots of features i like. But…I found your review from a Google search in which i typed the search terms: “How do i access the settings in G-Map?” Unfortunately i didn’t find that out from your review, but you did mention all the settings, and you referred to a “set up.” In the user guide (PDF) it also tells about the settings and it shows a little button in the upper left hand corner that says ‘Settings’ on it, the same button that at other times says “menu” on it or “Back.” I can’t figure out how to get mine to say “Settings.” Can you shed any light? Thanks again for the helpful review.

Settings are accessed from the “Settings” app. Go to your home screen, then touch Settings, scroll down to g-map and there you have it.
