PR: Tapulous Partners with Warner Music Group
Here’s a bit of exciting news we just received in our PR inbox: the makers of the hit game series Tap Tap Revenge have partnered with music production house Warner Music Group. The agreement will presumably allow Tapulous to release more Revenge titles with more access to popular music artists. We recently reviewed Tap Tap Nirvana and so this news is exciting, especially for us here at AC.
The agreement allows Tapulous to offer an unprecedented range of music to its 30 million users and gives WMG’s artists valuable exposure to a highly engaged audience. Over the next year Tapulous will release and promote four premium games featuring top WMG artists. Games will include the artist’s greatest hits and bonus tracks of remixes, previously unreleased material or live recordings.
The partnership solidifies Tapulous’s leadership at the intersection of music and gaming as they now have relationships with all major labels and proves the Tap Tap series to be a powerful platform for driving music purchases and engaging fans.
