Happy Holidays! What did you get?
With everyone receiving new i-gadgets for Christmas today I thought I’d post a little Happy Holidays. The picture here was taken with my iPhone 3GS’ 3MP camera. A pretty decent little phone camera, if I don’t say so myself. So while a lot of people are openning up new i-devices, I openned up a new Nikon D90 from Santa. What did you get? Tell us in the comments!

iPhone 3GS Unboxing Video and Major Photo Gallery
Since I live in a semi-rural area I wasn’t expecting our iPhone shipment until later today. So when the doorbell rang at 8:30am this morning you could imaging my surprise (and delight!) that our new phone had come earlier than we were expecting. So, without any further delay, here’s our first ever unboxing pictures and video here at AppChatter.com.
When UPS came I asked if he had something from Apple. He said this was all he had. I was expecting a bigger box like the ones seen in the AT&T video. Nope. Here’s our iPhone 3GS Unboxing and Mega Photo Gallery. Video is after the jump…
Note: iPhone is a 32GB model, black (obviously).

The blogosphere is abuzz today (here, here and here) with news that Apple will be unveiling details about the new iPhone OS 3.0 as well as the accompanying iPhone SDK. With push notifications nowhere in sight and their September deadline in the distant past maybe we will see something about it here.
What are you hoping to see? As for me, copy/paste is a high priority with push notifications or even background processes for third parties. I’d also like to see more of the native apps support landscape keyboard (mail and SMS especially, c’mon Apple!). For now we’ll have to dream and wait a meager 5 more days…
