Week 3 of Dancing with the Stars Season 11 was story week, the week when each dance had to portray a story. The three dances the couples were assigned were the Foxtrot, the Waltz, and the Samba. Four couples were at the top of the judges?leader board based on their performances.
Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovoloni were this week top couple performing a Waltz to et it Be Me?by Ray LaMontagne. This couple story was that of a widow who has one last dance with her deceased soldier husband. The sentimental factor was very high with this performance and felt by all three of the judges. Len Goodman (head judge) said you dance with your heart and that was the most touching dance of the night. Bruno Tonioli said it was compelling and touching storytelling and that the routine was beautifully danced. Carrie Ann Inaba said that the competition just got interesting with Audrina beautifully acted and danced Waltz. They scored 26 out of 30,beijing escort service, landing the first 9 of the season from Len and Bruno.
Three couples tied for second place Monday night,Greatest Irish Movies Ever, escort beijing, with total scores of 24 out of 30 points. Interestingly enough all three of these couples performed the Samba. The first of these couples to dance was Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough. They danced to the Erasure song Little Respect.?They told the story of a schoolboy and his fantasy for his teacher (a chance for Derek to act out his fantasy about his third grade teacher). Their routine was high energy and entertaining but there was a small mistake. After the routine Jennifer and Derek danced the portion where she had a small problem to show they could do it spot on. Len liked the clever choreography and continuous story of the performance, and while they had a small misstep he said as always Jennifer is an irresistible force. Bruno called her the exy Mistress of Cougartown Academy of Samba?but also pointed out her mistake with the difficult choreography. Carrie Ann thought they were slightly out of sync on Monday and called Jennifer problem a ig mess up.?This precipitated the couple to redo the section with a ake that?attitude.
The next second place couple to perform was Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They danced to the song ut It in a Love Song?by Alicia Keys (featuring Beyonce). They portrayed the storyline from the movie he Bodyguard?with Brandy portraying the Whitney Houston role and Maks as her bodyguard (the Kevin Costner role from the movie). The judges liked it as well. Len said it had good energy and rhythm. Bruno said her performance was so much better this week and he was starting to see the comeback of the diva. Carrie Ann said while she didn like Maks?training and teaching methods it did work because Brandy was hot and on fire with this routine.
The last second place couple to perform was Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke. They had the song hine Up?by Kat DeLuna as their music. Their story: Rick just cost his team a game and went to the bar alone because none of his teammates wanted to be with him. The judges thought that Rick took his dancing and performance to a new level with this routine. Len said he sent his standard higher Monday night as he went up a notch with performance. Bruno said it was hot and he wanted to see more hotness from him in the competition. Carrie Ann said the performance was hot and sexy and right with the music.
All four of these couples made it through to perform in week 4 of Dancing with the Stars. Next week these couples will be performing either the Argentine Tango or the Rumba. As always it will be interesting to see what the frontrunners do with these dances.
