    Brief Application Description:

SportyPal is a FREE application that helps you improve your running, cycling, rollerblading or any other outdoor workout activities performance by using your iPhone. When you are done with your workout, upload your tracks on the web and share them with your friends. SportyPal logs your position, shows it on map, logs your movement, distance, tempo and calories burned while working out.

You activate SportyPal when you start your workout. When you finish exercising, the collected performance information will be stored on your iPhone. SportyPal will present each exercise in a map view, draw elegant graphics charts of your performance or present summarized information.
SportyPal provides clean and neat design, simplicity of use, satisfactory functionalities and you can embrace its benefits by using both the mobile and the web clients.

Sportypal uses the GPS in the phone to track speed, distance, calories burned, elevation during an activity (running, cycling, hiking, rollerblading, skiing, walking… )

The application, while doing your workout, has a really nice screen with some additional real time information like speed/pace, distance covered, max speed and climb. You also have the ability to change to a map view that will use Google Maps to display your location. After your workout is over, it allows you to upload it to the
    http://www.sportypal.com website.

Once the workout is uploaded you can see the route of your movement as well as more detailed data.

You will see icons on the map for things like: Start, Stop, Fastest Speed, Highest Elevation and few other tools for manually selecting checkpoints from your track to analyze separated parts from your workout.

The options to share your workout with other users in the community section who are also using this web service and share their workouts with you is available.

As well as to share your workout with all the other social networks like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace… And to embed your workout maps.

The embedded maps are fully interactive Google Maps, and include whatever the original Maps page displayed. Very helpful tool if you want to show people the place you’re writing about in a blog post, or if you’re organizing an event and want to show people where it is.
In the attachment you can find some screen shoots from sportypal.
