ispider5 150x150 App Review: iSpider by Replay GamesiSpider by Replay Games is a quick and challenging game that will have your fingers twisted up in knots.  You get to live the life of a spider.  A very hungry spider!  At the top of your screen is the hunger meter.  It starts full, but very quickly falls.  You must catch and wrap up enough bugs in your web to keep you from starving.  If your hunger meter gets empty, you die.

Bugs get caught in your web randomly.  To catch them before they fly away, you must tap on the bug and hold your finger there while the bug is wrapped up in spider silk.  As you are wrapping up your victim, the orange circles around the bug will spin.  When, the orange circles disappear, that victim is done and you are awarded points and your hunger meter is filled a little.  As the game progresses, bugs appear in your web faster and faster.  Getting a finger on each and every one is a daunting task.  I found that in trying to capture all the bugs, I often let go of others that I did have before they were completely wrapped up.  It is hard to keep track of what each finger is doing.  Keep in mind that larger bugs take longer to capture than smaller bugs, but the reward for getting them is greater too.

iSpider is a fun game of Twister for the fingers.  It is great for killing a few minutes here or there.
